Affordable Supercar, I know this sounds crazy but some cars can be affordable to their competitors for the performance they offer. This time we are going to talk about the Indian Scenario. The affordability of Supercars in India might be taken as a joke considering the fact, we Indians must pay 2.5 times the original price of the car.
None the less, I am sure you would be interested in knowing that what is the most affordable way to get into the list and be a part of the elite group of supercar owners in India, I was too, and then I started researching about those cars and here are a few I came up with.
Nissan GT-R: -
You would be surprised to know that the Nissan GT-R aka the Godzilla is the most affordable supercar in India. In India, we get the standard Nissan GT-R, and unfortunately, we don’t even have an option to get the Nismo Version, here in India, I don’t know why, but it is what it is. The Nissan GT-R has an ex-showroom price of 2.12 Crores in Delhi, on the road the price of the car comes out to be around 2.42 crores which are quite reasonable considering that the GT-R is an exceptional Performer in its standard variant as well.
The 3.8 Litre Twin-turbocharged V6 puts out 565 Horsepower and 637 Nm of torque, which is good for giving it an acceleration of 0 to 60 Mph in just under 3 seconds and a top speed of around 190 Mph which is no slouch, the configuration for this GT-R is not that much configurable, you have to get the car in the form it is.
AMG GT R: -
I know I am giving you a lot of surprises but yes, the 2nd car on the list of affordable supercars in India is the “The beast from Green Hell”, the Mercedes AMG GT R. We don’t get the Pro version here in India, but the GT R is a great performer and thus we don’t feel a need for the GT R pro.
Contrary to what is the case with the Nissan GT-R, this GT R, is quite configurable, there are a lot of options available for the customers to get their car in and it is that versatility and freedom of configuring the car to your terms that makes everyone adore the GT R.
It’s a direct competitor to the GT3 RS and is a viable option for someone who is looking for a substitute for the GT3 RS.
The GT R as you might know comes with a 4.4 liter twin-turbo V8 under the hood that produces 577 Horsepower and 700 Nm of torque, which gives it, the stupendous acceleration of 0 to 60 Mph in just around 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 198 miles per hour.
The GT R costs about 2.48 crores ex-showroom Delhi. And the on-road price is around 2.82 crores.
I spaced one for myself and it costs almost 3 crores.
That’s it for the most affordable Supercars in India, I trust you liked this one, tried to do something different.
