LAMBORGHINI SIAN: BEGINNING OF A NEW ERA??

About a year ago, the news started coming in of a new-gen Lamborghini Car being in the works, Sian they called it. There was a lot of Visible confusion as Lamborghini stated this won’t be just one of the normal production Lamborghinis, neither it is going to be the successor of the Aventador.

Hearing this everyone was quite intrigued that What was this car going to be?? From the teaser, it seemed to be a car that had taken the inspiration from the Lamborghini Terzo millenio Concept because of the futuristic headlights and the rear seemed to have been inspired by the Lamborghini Countach.

So, what exactly is the thing that makes the Sian so special, let’s find it out without any further ado.

Stefano Domenicali who is the Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini presented this machine to the world.

He was very happy to share another piece of art in the future of the Lamborghini Brand.

Sian is the name of the car, it is a Hypercar designed with sophisticated technology, it is the super sports car of the future.

The meaning of the Italian name Sian is Lightning in English. The Sian will be produced in 63 pieces and you have guessed it right all have been sold out.

They set themselves a challenge to create the best hybrid solution for a Lamborghini, it’s the best way to define their route for strategy and electrification and to define what is the best way to achieve Lamborghini.

In this car, they implemented the first application of a High-voltage system with a high current. This is a solution that is important because this generates mechanical traction, and this is completely different from all the other 48 -volt systems.

Mechanical traction allowed them to have the complete power of 819 CV, this is the highest power released for any kind of Lamborghini product in the history of Lamborghini, yes even more Powerful than the Lamborghini Veneno and the Lamborghini Centenario which were the so-called Hypercars by Lamborghini.

They have the first application of a Supercapacitor, the first application in a Hybrid Solution. They have made this application instead of a Normal Li-ion battery.

FKP 37 is a tribute to professor Piech. Lamborghini knows how close he was to the brand and his dedication to where Lamborghini stands today.

Now let’s look at the design of the car shall we

The Lamborghini Aventador looked so wild when it was launched, the Aventador design was so outrageous that it didn’t take it much time to become the definition of a proper supercar, but now times have changed and we need a successor, the Sian isn’t a successor to the Aventador, but it’s the car that will carry the technology to future Lamborghinis and who knows Lamborghini Might have teased the design of their future car with the Sian.

The Sian is what I would call the future Batmobile Lamborghini, because of the front, leave the front splitter and the Aero bits, the front headlights itself looks like a medieval torcher device, it’s so sharp and aggressive, there is only one car I have seen that is as close to the Sian In terms of aggression and that is the Apollo IE, we will discuss the Apollo as well in some other future post, stay tuned. Being a Lamborghini V12, one thing is for sure that it would have those super cool Dihedral doors, the stance of the car is the same as all classic V12 Lamborghinis, and the rear might remind you of the coolest and wildest looking Lamborghini of all time, the Lamborghini Countach. The taillights are the same as they were on the Countach with a modern touch, one more interesting quirk might be their hexagonal shape, the exhaust is shaped like that too, I wonder why…………

The Sian won’t just become as a Coupe, it will be available in the form of a roadster too but the roadster, however, will be much more exclusive than the Coupe, out of the 63 total number of Sian, 44 are going to be the coupes and 19 are going to be roadster or convertibles.

So, the Sian roadster together with the coupe version represents the first step in Lamborghini’s road to electrification.

The Open-top Sian roadster also affirms a desire for the ultimate Lamborghini Lifestyle.

Lamborghini believes that the Sian roadster is the perfect bridge that will lead them to a positive future by always being innovators and future shapers.

One of the most important features of the Lamborghini Sian is Safety, the roll bar, based on the roll bar they have completely redefined the engine bonnet of the car, where you can see through the window the naturally aspirated V12 engine and this gives a perception of the power.

The Integration with the front parts of the windscreen is done thanks to the side window with a special cut that takes the shape of a roll bar and integrates it with the windscreen of the car.

In the upper parts of the front windscreen, you can see a special shape that is done in terms of design but also in terms of functionality to guarantee that the aerodynamics, the aeroacoustics inside the cabin are the best that is possible to have.

So, this the start of a new era for sure with the Lamborghini Sian and I can’t wait to see what the future models would look like because after seeing the Sian I am confident enough that Lamborghini is going to have a great future.
