The TVS Apache RR 310 is the best Indian motorcycle made yet, The heart of this machine is a 310 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine which Pumps out 34 horses and 27 NM of torque.
This motorcycle has some very unique features, for example, the engine is real inclined which helps in balancing the center of mass of the motorcycle. This motorcycle strikes a perfect balance between comfort and outride performance. This motorcycle commemorates 35 years of TVS Racing and is thus a very special Motorcycle. Some of the few things which make this motorcycle unique are that the engine is sourced from BMW so it is very refined and the performance is Punchy. The real sprocket has 41 teeth, Which make the acceleration faster, acceleration figures for this motorcycle are 0 to 60 mph in 2.93 seconds and 0 to 100 kmph in 7.11 seconds which is pretty fast for a single-cylinder 300cc motorcycle. The low end is very good,mid-end is great, The top end isn't that good. But this motorcycle can reach up to a top speed of 171 kmph on the speedometer and 165 kmph on the GPS meter. Talking about the looks I think this is probably the most beautiful looking 300cc motorcycle in the world. It probably looks like a baby Ducati Panigale.TVS deserves an Applause on the design front. You have Bi-LED lights at the front. The indicators and the tail light is also an LED module. The tail light is also very nice and the motorcycle looks phenomenal. Talking about the instrument cluster it is the most detailed instrument cluster present in a 300cc motorcycle in the world, it shows you lap time, it has a top speed recorder, twin trip meters and the rest of the information is displayed on the screen itself. The clip-on handlebars give a premium feel and the Switchgear quality is also very nice and feels like a top premium class motorcycle. The wind visor does the job pretty well in deflecting the wind. The Indian flag touch on the visor makes us Indians proud that how far we have come in the world of motorcycles. There are some bad points for starters the rider seat is comfortable but the pillion seat isn't much usable and is not meant for long rides, the pillion seat is okay for city rides. Also, this is a sport-touring bike and the tank capacity of just 11 liters you haven't got much range. Also, the tank is made of plastic so you can't mount magnetic tank bags on it. But you can mount tail bag or saddlebags on the rear seat, the fit and the finish of motorcycle is good. You can expect a mileage of around 28 kmpl which is very good. The best thing about this motorcycle is that it can be used for every purpose. You can use it for city commuting, you could use it for touring, plus you could do occasional track. Ground clearance is sufficient to handle even the worst of roads.
Now talking about the price at 2.24 lakhs ex-showroom Delhi, we still want some little more at this Price Point. TVS could have provided a slipper clutch and should have lowered the price by 5K rupees, then this motorcycle would have been more than perfect, but still, there isn't any motorcycle present in the Indian market right now which can match the overall package offered by TVS in the Apache RR 310 and for me, it is a definite buy.
